This chunk of deli bacon is made of choice lean pork loins. This is an un-cut, not sliced, whole bacon chunk made according to a traditional “gypsy” style recipe. Cooked and double smoked, it is made of the best quality pork with minimum processing, and offers a specific, delicate smokey flavor. Of course it can be baked or sautéed further but it is best enjoyed the old fashion Polish way: sliced and served on piece of bread with little bit of mustard.

How to defrost

If you ordered a deli product from Polana.com, it will arrive to you frozen. Upon receiving your package, if you do not wish to enjoy these foods right away, please place the products back in the freezer immediately. Once you are ready to enjoy your deli meats from Polana, simply remove them from the freezer and place them in your refrigerator to thaw. Allow the meats about 12 hours to come back to their original texture, taste and condition.
