“Barszcz Czerwony” (Bahr-shch Chehr-voh-ny) that’s Polish for red beet soup! Commonly referred to as red borscht in the U.S., this clear, red beet broth is undoubtedly one of Poland’s most recognizable soups, and most popular national dishes!

There are a number of ways to enjoy it and this instant mix makes for a few quick servings! Follow the prep instructions below and enjoy this clear red beet broth whichever traditional way you prefer - pour it into a bowl over some cooked uszka, or a halved boiled egg with sausage and bits of bacon or sip from a cup with a baked croquette on the side!
- Step 1 Pour the contents of the bag (48 g) into 750 ml of cold water and mix thoroughly.
- Step 2 Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring.
