Malwa - Sour Cherry Tea
Tea is certainly one of Poland’s most consumed beverages, and among the most popular varieties are fruit teas! Wisnia, or “wild cherry” in English, is one of Poland’s most elegant fruits and it is widely used not only in deserts and sweet liquors but can also be enjoyed as a tea infusion. The unique and delightfully sweet flavor of this tea is achieved with a combination of wild cherry (33%), apple, rosehip, hibiscus flowers, hawthorn berries, elderberry, and liquorice root. The tea is caffeine free.

To prepare, place a teabag in a cup. Pour 200ml of freshly boiled water over it and cover the cup. To obtain the deep, distinctive taste and aroma of the tea, brew for about 8-10 minutes.
