Our Chocolate Pear Cake is simply picture perfect and is sure to please the most discriminating tastes. The delicate yellow sponge cake is filled with 2 layers of light pear mousse mixed with pieces of pears, followed by a layer of luscious chocolate mousse with a hint of rum flavor. We add a layer of whipped cream frosting all around, and finish the look with lady fingers. The top of the cake is decorated with thinly sliced pears and drizzled with chocolate. The whipped cream rosettes are sprinkled with chopped pistachios. We've even tied a pretty ribbon around our cake for that extra touch! This spectacular-looking cake is so light and so delicious, it would make a perfect grand finale to any special meal.(May contain nuts or nut products)
Remove cake from the freezer and refrigerate for 6 - 12 hours.
