Description
There are certain foods that instantly bring back the tastes of home, and cookies are often at the top of that list. One of the best known types of Polish cookies are, Kołaczki. Though their origin is uncertain, most people of Polish decent will easily recognize them, as they were a common item found in the kitchen notebooks of our Polish grandmothers. These semi puff-pastry cookies fold in the middle over a dab of lightly sweet fruit jam (in a variety of flavors) and are finished off with a light dusting of powdered sugar. A delicate sweet and a classic Polish treat that will bring back the sentiments of childhood and home for many.

Wheat flour, butter, cream cheese, margarine, salt, eggs, baking powder, assorted fruit fillings (apricot, strawberry, plum, blueberry, raspberry, lemon)
How to defrost
Allow Kołaczki to thaw at room temperature or in your refrigerator.
Smacznego!
The Kolaczki were very good. I enjoyed them with freshly brewed coffee. I was reminded of the tastes of my childhood.
Actually havent eaten anything yet. It just arrived a few hours ago and was a day late as it was stuck in transit. Upon opening box food was barely cool so hoping its safe to eat. The styrafoam cooler it came in was packed in the box upside down even though the box said which side was up. Im hoping for the best taste and safety wise. I did place the rye bread directly in freezer since it was now an extra day old.
My family had never tried Polish food so I ordered the Kolaczki’s and a few other items. The Kolaczki’s didn’t last long. They are delicious.
These were absolutely delicious. My husband and I devoured them first-thing. My favorite have always been the apricot and I was so happy to see them included in your assortment. Thanks for your high quality. Wonderful!
These are amazing. Everyone loves them!!!
