They are particularly celebrated in the U.S. on Fat Tuesday, but according to true, Polish tradition, they can be enjoyed any time of year! This famous Polish sweet has been around for quite a long time, and though today they are made with a variety of different and unique fillings, one of the oldest and most classic pączki fillings is plum butter jam! These pączki, filled with a lightly sweet plum butter provide a perfect, classic, old-world taste! Light, fluffy, and topped with a thin sugar glaze they are one of the most traditional Polish sweets! How to defrost
Please note that Polana’s Pączki do arrive a little frozen as our products are shipped with dry ice to protect their quality.
If you’d like to enjoy your Pączki right away, take each paczki container out of the shipment box and set them aside at room temperature for up to 6 hours before eating.
If you’d like to freeze them: place your Pączki boxes in the freezer when your order arrives. When you’re ready to enjoy them, take the Pączki out of the freezer and place them in a safe place at room temperature. Crack the lid of each plastic container just a bit and allow them to defrost overnight.
