As the name implies, Krakowska hails from Poland's old royal capital of Kraków. This sausage has always been one of the top sellers in Poland. It is made from choice cuts of lean pork, seasoned with pepper, allspice, coriander and garlic, packed into large casings and cooked in aromatic hot smoke. The result is a delicious, lean and meaty sausage fit for a king. It is an excellent cold cut for sandwiches, dressed any way you like.
Interesting fact: Krakowska goes by many similar names for example Krakauer Sausage or Krajana.

How to defrost

If you ordered a deli product from Polana.com, it will arrive to you frozen. Upon receiving your package, if you do not wish to enjoy these foods right away, please place the products back in the freezer immediately. Once you are ready to enjoy your deli meats from Polana, simply remove them from the freezer and place them in your refrigerator to thaw. Allow the meats about 12 hours to come back to their original texture, taste and condition.
