Description
A true icon of Polish baking, Krakow Cheesecake — known in Poland as Sernik Krakowski — is as elegant as it is comforting. Made with authentic twaróg (Polish farmer’s cheese), this cheesecake carries a distinct tang that beautifully balances its gentle sweetness and velvety texture. Studded with plump raisins and finished with a delicate icing drizzle and bits of candied orange peel, it’s a dessert that feels both rich and refined.
Beloved for generations, this traditional cheesecake hails from Kraków — Poland’s royal city — where it’s long been served at festive gatherings and family holidays. Whether you’re introducing Polish flavors to your table or indulging in a nostalgic favorite, each slice of Sernik Krakowski offers a timeless taste of Polish tradition.

I grew up with a Polish bakery literally next door to where I lived. I grew up with raisins in my cheesecake. Not easy to find everywhere today.. Here the flavors are subtle, a little raisin, a little orange peel, a little sweetness from the icing. Really a treat!
Very dry. Maybe the freezing process affects it.
A bit dry, but great taste.
I have never had a cheese cake so good.
