INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 lbs (900g) Biała Kielbasa
  • 2 medium Onions, sliced
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Dried Marjoram
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh Parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

For the Potatoes:

  • 1.5 lbs (700g) Baby Potatoes, halved (or Yukon Gold potatoes, cut into chunks)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Preheat the Oven:

  • Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Prepare the Potatoes:

  • Toss the halved potatoes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread them evenly on one side of a large baking sheet or in a roasting pan.

3. Prepare the Kielbasa:

  • Slice the biała kielbasa into 2-inch pieces and set aside.

4. Sauté the Onions and Garlic:

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add sliced onions and cook for 5 minutes, until softened and slightly caramelized.
  • Stir in the minced garlic, marjoram, paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for another minute.

5. Combine and Bake:

  • Move the potatoes to one side of the baking dish or sheet pan.
  • Arrange the kielbasa pieces in the center and spoon the sautéed onion and garlic mixture over the top.
  • Drizzle with an additional tablespoon of olive oil if needed.

6. Bake:

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning the sausage and stirring the potatoes halfway through, until the kielbasa is browned and cooked through, and the potatoes are tender.
